Zhu Bixin met with Ansteel leaders

On June 16, China Chengtong’s Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman Zhu Bixin met with Ansteel Group(Ansteel)Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman Tan Chengxu, and President Dai Zhihao at the Group’s headquarters. The two sides exchanged views on deepening bilateral cooperation. Ansteel Vice President Wang Yidong and Xie Feng, and China Chengtong’s Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee Shan Zhongli and General Accountant Chen Yong attended the meeting.

Zhu Bixin welcomed Tan Chengxu and the delegation. He introduced China Chengtong’s history of development and achievements in fund investment, equity management, assets operation and financial services since becoming a pilot state capital operating company, as well as the development of integrated logistics, manufacturing and new energy industries. Zhu noted that China Chengtong would make full use of its function as a state capital operating company when implementing SASAC’s policies to further contribute to the integration of the nation’s steel industry. Zhu hoped that China Chengtong and Ansteel could strengthen their strategic cooperation to make further contributions to jointly revitalising northeast China.

Tan Chengxu extended his gratitude to China Chengtong for its long-term support to Ansteel, and shared Ansteel’s reform and development status. Tan stated that Ansteel has registered record-high operating performances in recent years by seizing various opportunities and maintained a strong growing momentum when ushering into the 14th Five-Year development period (2021-2025). China Chengtong has made significant contributions to central SOEs’ reform and accumulated rich experience in this field as Tan mentioned. Tan hoped the two companies could establish a working mechanism to facilitate communication and promote coordinated development so as to realise common development while fully implementing SASAC’s strategies.
